it's actually a rubber material speedball makes called soft cut or safty cut. easiest stuff to carve.

Hey. I really like this. The rough stylization adds a rather rudimentary feel to it, which, combined with the kinda macabre subject, reminds me a lot of early Romanesque carvings and murals. Which is cool, because Romanesque churches rock my socks...

I sound so stupid.

Anyway. Er. Maybe that's what you were going for in the first place, in which case I'll seem like even more of a retard. Rah.

I love this so much.
Such a lovely idea and concept that impresses me so. <3

The style adds so much more to it- and I can't help but stare.
This is a very well done piece.
